I have been a busy and lucky girl yet again over the past few weeks as I went again to another exciting event by the Bloggers Hangout crew. This time around it was to mark the end of London Fashion Week and what an event it was. In total honesty its my favourite so far! It was fun and exciting with many amazing brands to be discovered and new and old bloggers to meet. I had a blast to say the least.
By the way, if you missed reading my last Bloggers Hangout event from last month please find the link here.
This event was held last Monday and even though I had to work that day I was pretty much clock watching the whole day at the office not out of boredom but out of excitement and anticipation. When 4pm finally arrived I found myself bursting out of the office to emerge in the busy streets of London on my way to the event.
I had arrived and already few fellow bloggers were waiting for doors to open but we could already see what was in store for us: hair salons, manicure, skincare stands, fashion and even jewellery, so basically a bloggers beauty heaven.
The event was separated into two big rooms under red brick arches, so perfect for Instagram lovers like me. Finally the doors opened and we were welcomed into those beautiful rooms filled with beautiful stands, all very inviting! I have to admit being a beauty junkie I had to check out all the skincare stands first which were:
Weleda- A brand that I have actually known for years as rather widely available in France especially in chemists and specialist beauty stores. I'm loving this brand for two reasons: because they've been around for many, many years. Well... 90 years to be precise, and I like a brand that has experience behind them and secondly with their skincare products you know what you' re getting: no fancy packaging, just pure Skin Food products filled with all the goodness of plants and flowers. I was kindly given one product to try: Skin Food for dry & rough skin full size and the hand bag size.
PurePotions Skin Salvation- This lovely brand is perhaps my favourite encountered at this event. PurePotions have been created speciality for the whole family from babies to adults. It helps skin problems such as scars, eczema, dry skin etc. Their range is very diversified and you'll definitely find something that suits your need, also I am glad to report that Purepotions uses all natural ingredients, are animal free from animal testing, are made in UK, made with love and created by a mother who wanted to help her daughter's very dry skin so two thumbs up all the way. I got also very lucky to be given the Daily Moituriser and also the Purepotions Intensive Moisturising Ointment that, I have to admit, help a lot my boyfriend's eczema on his hands. So highly recommended. Purepotions can be found in Holland & Barrett, Whole Foods, Selfridges & co etc.
Amie Naturally Kind- This skincare brand is a newbie for me and I have to admit I had never heard about it before, this is why I love so much these blogging events because you very often get to discover new products. What strike me first is their very refreshing and spring like packaging. I mean look at those beauties! Secondly after a good chat with the PR I found out that Amie is an all natural skincare with no animal testing, no parabens, sulphates or GM ingredients which in my opinion is two thumbs up. Also to add to my luck I was given 4 of their full size products to try at home: Matte Finish Moisturiser, Gently Cleansing Micellar Water, Deep Pore Exfoliating Polish & Purifying Facial Wash. I am enjoying them so much that I'll do a proper review in few weeks time. By the way they are available at Waitrose, John Lewis etc.
Weleda & Purepotions
Another brand that wowed me was Kenneth Turner, I had heard of them on many occasions but seeing them was rather nice as I got to chat for quite a long time with the agent which introduced me to their products from home fragrance, to soap but mostly to candles! yes candles !! I love candles (well I am a blogger so of course), Oh and just adored their whole range which was very spring like, very floral but yet not over powering, and on top of that their candles are natural and use natural oils so what's more to ask.

After spending a good few hours talking and looking at all the skincare brands (well you know me its my first love) I spent more time looking at everything else that was on display for us, and another brand that I love talking with was LAB2 for their utterly beautiful brushes foundation and I was rather impressed by the quality and how soft they were. I haven't tried them just yet (as got lucky to be given few brushes to take home) but wait for a proper review soon.
I just would like to give a big thank you to
