5 Things I am Loving Right Now | #3

Thursday, 13 June 2019 Banbury, UK

Hi all, Here the number 3 of my new little series of 5 things that I am loving right now. You can read my latest 5 things series by following this link! So what have been rocking my little world lately? well.. a series, my drawings, National Trust and few other things.
Let s start with my drawing :

MY DRAWINGS
I have to say it took me about 4 and bit years to talk about my drawing. Lately my husband remind me that I had a little talent and that I shall be proud of it and show to the world instead of hiding them. I am not the type of person that show what I can do . I Am in fact a not very confident person perhaps that come from a childhood were whatever talent I had were never encouraged...but that s another story.
For the little story, from about the age of 9, I always been interested in manga type of cartoon and ultimately my drawing very quickly follow that type of drawing.
So here the few drawings have done lately along with older one .I have hundred under my sleeve but I can only show you few.

HIDCOTE | National Trust
As a lucky member of the National Trust I visited a lot of them throughout the past few months but one that husband and I particularly love its the Hidcote one in the Cotswold. We actually visited this one twice this month already and I am sure we 'll go back again soon. What we really love about this beautiful garden its that at every turn you enter a different garden, from a cottage type of garden, to a French garden, English garden etc. all your sense will be awake. My favourite part is the open green house which offer an exquisite collection of succulents, cactus, ferns etc. this green house is the green house of dream, or at least my husband and I dream. Also you must see the newt pond (just next to the green house), also the vegetable and fruit garden is a must see if you are a keen garderner like husband and I . Let your sense be awake by the smell of the Mediterranean herbs, spotted the lady birds hidden within the plants and definitely smells the strawberries and all other beautiful berries. This place is absolutely stunning. If you get the chance to visit it I recommend during teh week as during sunny weekend the place can get a bit crowded and you may end up queuing 20/30 minutes to just park your car. To avoid this, if you can not go during the week, do arrives around the opening time to make sure you don't wait around for a parking space.

MY GARDEN
Since my husband and I are own owner I 'll never though in a millions of years that I will enjoy gardening. When I was living in London, most places I rented offered small gardens (or not at all) and I had never had an interest on taking care. Many years later here I am trying to grow our own vegetables ( we are growing tomatoes, courgette, beans, carrot, pumpkin, potatoes etc.) along with other fun stuff like growing sun flowers, Chinese Lanterns, Daisies etc. Its absolutely fascinating to put seeds into little pot and wait , wait , wait a bit more and then suddenly see the tiniest leaf coming out. Its fascinating and beautiful to see the evolution. This year its really the first year we put a lot of effort in our garden, we are learning a lot and by next year we are hoping to get better (or at least have a better knowledge) and certainly not do the few mistakes that we made already (learning from mistakes is the best way anyway!)  and even grow more. Our dream its in few years time to sale our little house and get a new house but with a much bigger garden (right now our garden is fairly small) and be self sufficient on vegetables. The dream to never ever buy vegetables from the shops! Some people dreams of expensive cars, money, diamonds etc. me and my husband are dreaming of a bigger vegetable garden. #priority

THE OA
Lets start by the latest series I binge watch and I just can't wait for season 3. That series is The OA. I watched season 1 at the beginning of my maternity leave in December 2017. I was about 8 months pregnant and having plenty of free time, after leaving a demanding job in London, The OA entertain me in the most unsuspected way.  I fall in love in season 1 with the story, the characters and everything else in between. This mystery drama series is twisted with supernatural, fantasy and science fiction elements (all the stuff that I love) its beautifully executed visually mix with an intelligent script and lovable characters .If you are not familiar with this series, below is the synopsis by Wikipedia ( they are much better than me at explaining a series ...trust me on this one!!)

Part I
The series centers around Prairie Johnson, an adopted young woman who resurfaces after having been missing for seven years. Upon her return, Prairie calls herself "The OA" (for "Original Angel"), exhibits scars on her back, and can see, despite having been blind when she disappeared. The OA refuses to tell the FBI and her adoptive parents where she has been and how her eyesight was restored, and instead quickly assembles a team of five locals (four high school students and a teacher) to whom she reveals that information, also explaining her life story. Finally, she asks for their help to save the other missing people who she claims she can rescue by opening a portal to another dimensions.

Part II

The second season follows the OA as she traverses to another dimension and ends up in San Francisco to continue her search for her former captor Hap and her fellow captives, as Prairie crosses paths with private eye Karim Washington to assist in his investigation of the surreal disappearance of a missing girl that involves an abandoned house with a supernatural history and an online puzzle game. Meanwhile, in the original dimension, a series of unfortunate events propels the OA's five companions to embark on a road trip across America to assist the OA on her journey.
After waiting over 2 years and a 1/2 season 2 was release on the 22 snd of March of this year and I have to admit that I almost though they would never do a season 2 but here we are. Season 3 have not yet been officially confirmed by the producers but they already had the whole plot written for 5 seasons in total after produced the first one so it looks like they will. If you like that kind of series then you know what to do! The OA is available on Netflix (series 1 & 2 ).

Old Classic Disney
I am a kid of the 80's and with that I grew up liking the early Disney movies such as Robin Hood, The Black Cauldron, Bambie, The Fox and the Hound, Aistocats etc. so lately I decided to get all my childhood favourites and also having a 2 and 1/2 years old toddler I wish to make her discover my childhood Disney favourites. The younger generation than me would most likely love Lion's king, Mulan, Aladdin etc. but I was in my late teen in the 90's hence why those never went in my favourite (apart beauty and the beast & The Little Mermaid). Anyway I though I gave a shootout to few of the old Disney that were created back in the 70's and 80's.
So far I got Robin Hood, Black Cauldron (one of teh darkest Disney so a must see and a masterpiece in my opinion) & The sword in the Stone. I am planing to get my hand soon on :
Aristocats
Bambie
The fox and the Hound
Cinderella
& Sleeping beauty.
By the way don't think I don't like the newer Disney as part of my collection I do already own Frozen, , Finding Nemo, Monster Inc II and Tangled (a fav of mine).

What are your fav Disney or what have you been enjoying lately ?tell me all by commenting below.
