West Wittering | A Picture Tale

If you do not now West Wittering Beach its a long and beautiful sandy beach located on the coast of West Sussex. For the past 7 years now my husband and I have been going to West Wittering to meet a bunch of friends. It became a yearly meet with all our good friends during the August bank holiday weekend. We are very lucky that one of her good friend have a large family holiday cottage literally 3 minutes walk from the beach. This year was no exception we all met at the West Wittering's holiday cottage and as usual our mini holiday was filled with good company, food, laugh, board games, bbq and this year we even managed to swim in a warm sea (yes! you read it well it was not even cold!!!) it was like we were in a beach in Spain but without all the travelling! What more to ask really? This year August bank holiday weekend it was hot and our swimming costumes were definitely out. (last year it was more jumper, waterproof jacket & cosy socks that were out haha!!!).  As I am a lover of photography taking on the spot I though I'll share with few of my pictures of West wittering.

West Wittering Beach  

On Sunday something very strange happened. We were on the beach enjoying the gorgeous weather and the view when within few minutes a mist arrived and covered the entire beach for about 20 minutes. It was very ghostly and we were all wondering what it was but before we knew it all was gone and the sunshine was back on the beach. I took few shots of that moment which was just something amazing to experience.  Misty and ghostly experience
