Sostrene Grene & Ikea Home Haul

Tuesday, 15 October 2019 Banbury, UK

Lately have been loving gathering little home things especially since we started renovating our kitchen, although our kitchen is far from behind finish (we are keeping units but just revamping them along with walls, lights etc.) it still lovely to find items that would find their place in our new kitchen in few weeks time.
During my trip to France , few weeks ago, we decided to visit the shop Sostrene Grene. I heard many good thing about this lovely store that offer many eco-friendly products but also everything for your home, from decor, cookware to DIY etc. at very affordable prices. Even so I was tempted to buy the whole shop I settle for a lovely ceramic speckle jar in a beautiful navy blue and a natural fibre and wood cleaning brush. Both items would absolutely fit well in my upcoming new style kitchen and being more aware and conscious of protecting our planet I gradually started stopping buying plastic basically I am aiming for a plastic and chemical free home. It might take some time to achieve this but I am for sure taking the right direction.
If you ever find yourself near by a Sostrene Grene and you are a fanatic interior obsess like me then I highly recommend this beautiful shop (you won't disappointed!).

Next Ikea. I mean I don't have to introduce Ikea. We all know its one of our favourite place to home shop. Literally few Days ago I went to this place of home interior dream in the look out for little things to add to my future new kitchen. I did not find as much goodies that I was hoping for but I still came back with this beautiful indoor ivy which, I already know, I'll be hanging from the kitchen ceiling our from one of the reclaimed wood shelves we are planning to have.
The golden pot was also from Ikea  and as I do have lots golden accent in my home, it would just go perfectly well if it does not end up in my kitchen. And to finish my little home haul I also got from Ikea those simple wooden salad servers. I absolutely love the little design detail at each handle and it was something that I was actually missing in my kitchen so very happy about this find.
This conclude my little Sostrene Grene and Ikea haul. which of my items caught your eyes?

  2. A natural cleaning brush is a staple of mine — I'm never going back to those classic nasty sponges that only collect dirt and bacteria, plus, I feel like these work so much better! And I absolutelly love the ceramic jar — it's adorable! ❤
