The Ivy Oxford Breakfast | Blogger event

Friday, 8 November 2019 Oxford, UK

Few days ago The Ivy Oxford kindly invited me, on the day of their grand opening, to taste their breakfast menu. Of course this is something that can not be refused, I mean its The Ivy after all!!
As I arrived on an early and chilly morning at The Ivy, already a dozen other influencers were there waiting to be let in and enjoy a 2 course meals or shall I say a 2 course breakfast meal at the utter beautiful brasserie. After a hello to all the bloggers and admiring the whole place, once again , (see my previous The Ivy Preview Party post here) we all sat on a long table especially prepared for us by the Ivy team.
We were made at ease very quickly when the so sophisticated but friendly waiters offer us a hot drink of our choice. Then menu were given and this is when the exciting bit started.
We were exclusively given a tailor made menu for our blogger breakfast. I went for the Beet It juice (beetroot, apple, lemon) then I decided to go for the Oat and almond with a coconut yogurt & granola and for my second breakfast I went for the Egg Royal (muffin, smoked salmon, poached egg with an Hollandaise sauce).
Well... where shall I start really? Because in the world of tasting amazing food The Ivy certainly know how to satisfied our taste buds.

The Oat & Almond Granola was fresh, tangy and lightly sweet like I love it. I felt like the coconut yogurt was a little twist that I really enjoyed it with the fresh raspberries and of course the crunchy almond granola.
then the Egg Royal. I mean this was probably my favourite dish. Everything was just done to perfection. the poached eggs were divine, the salmon was absolutely silky delicious and the hollandaise sauce was like my mother use to make them (and as you may or may not know my mum being an amazing and talented cook if someone can make an hollandaise like hers then you know they did good). Overall that is made it for me and I was even very temped  to lick the remaining sauce off my plate but it would probably be a bit embarrassing.
Also I would like to mention the delicate table wear which as expected by The Ivy were so refined with silver and porcelain all around. The service was absolutely perfect and our dedicated waiter was extremely charming , funny but yet very professional. As a former Maitre D'hotel myself and as I worked for 4 stars hotel and Michelin star restaurant in the past  (I then stopped working in this industry to follow my dream, 17 years ago, to work in the fashion industry) I can tell you they were very professional and extremely well trained. If I was their Maitre D'Hotel I would be very proud of them.
Below other dish pictures are from my fellow bloggers but I though I share it with you so you can have an ideas of what other kind of breakfast you can also have but do check their large breakfast menu which you can find here

The Ivy Oxford can accommodate you for all your eating experience  from breakfast, brunch or diner and let not mention you get to taste amazing food in a stunning brasserie and just for that The Ivy should be on your next trip to Oxford.

The Ivy Oxford opened their door on the 5th of November and they already accept all reservation including for Christmas so get it there before it get fully booked.

Special thank you to Tallie and Morgan for the invitation.

  8. Alongside weakness, mental fogginess and migraines, not having breakfast can prompt long haul medical issues. 먹튀검증
