A weekly Links Round Up

Monday, 7 March 2022

These Monday Links Round up we got a little bit of YouTube, murderer documentary, and K-Pop, I could probably do a little 'what have been watching /listening to lately' either way this is what I enjoyed lately. By the way, if you haven't read my last one find it here.

THE WOMEN AND THE MURDERER - Netflix
So what have been fuelling my digital interest lately? Well, as mentioned above a bit of everything and anything. Let's start with a good murder documentary, as most females do,  I do find them fascinating especially the police/detective research to find the guilty.
This documentary was suggested to me on my Netflix and being a French documentary (it have been dub in English so do not worry if you do not speak French ) I was attracted to it instantly (...if you don't know I am french hence why). So, of course, I have to watch it.

This documentary traces the capture of serial killer Guy Georges through the tireless work of two amazing women: A police chief and a victim's mother in 1990's Paris. Two women battle to find the truth and to capture a serial killer that hunted Paris in the 90s.  All his unfortunate victims were beautiful young and very intelligent successful women...what push him to make the unforgivable?

Watch it!!! it's gripping, yet very upsetting at the time (viewer discretion is advised) but to watch those two women fight for many years to catch this serial killer is absolutely fascinating.

JAIME FRENCH -YouTuber
I am going, to be honest there, apart from listening on repeat all my library on YouTube Music I do not spend as much time as I used like 5 or 10 years ago by watching Vlog and so on from my favorite YouTubers from back then, don't take me wrong I still subscribe to most of them that are still going but I do not honestly watch their videos as much as I used to, let's say I perhaps got bored of another Get ready with me Vlog or else but lately I came across a YouTuber that has been on the platform for years but she only recently appeared in my recommendation list.

And what makes me follow her is her excellent sense of humor, I found her hilarious a
nd her new series where she commented on nostalgic movies from the '90s and '00s but obviously, the bad ones such as She s all That, Coyote Ugly, Lizzie Mcguire movies, etc. she does not criticize the way those movies are made or acted as of course just like me those movies are part of our past and as bad tas they are we still love them. her interpretation of them is hilarious and just for that go check her out.

KAI- PEACHES - Kpop
I am a huge fan of Kpop for some years now. Let's say since the age of about 10 has been
influenced by the Asian culture especially the culture of South Korea and Japan. Anyway, all this to mention is that have been listening to Kai's new album PEACHES on repeat. If you're into Kpop I highly suggest you listen to it. Kai's voice is so sensual and his move is to die for, altho I also suggest to listen his first album released end of 2020 Mmmh which is to this day my ultimate favorite album.
My highlight of Peaches album is obviously:  Peaches, Domino, Vanilla, Blue  & come in.

INVENTING ANNA -Netflix means if you haven't heard or already watch this one-season series only then where have you been hiding?  Joke aside I binged watched this season in a matter of few days. Absolutely gripping and crazy to think this is based on true events. I do actually remember when Anna Delvey what being arrested and interrogated around 2017 and that her con story was everywhere, it was only a matter of time before Netflix made a series out of it.
So what is about INVENTING ANNA, in few words;

'A journalist with a lot to prove investigates the case of Ann Delvey, the Instagram-legendary German heiress who stole the hearts of New York's social scene and stole their money as well'

And here you have it, I hope this little round-up would make me want to check them out.
 Thanks for reading.
