Travel-Center Parcs - NormandyMy husband, daughter and I are going to try our first Center Parcs, and we're trying it in France, specifically in my native region of Normandy. We wanted to have a week to rest and yet have that bit of 'summer' holiday feel. Of course, it won't be hot, and this is not a bother for any of us, as it would be in October. If you've been to Center Parcs, I believe they all come with a dome and indoor swimming pool. The one we are planning to go to has these along with a lazy river, wave pool, etc., all indoor, and that sounds like real fun. Oh, and let's not mention all sorts of other activities in and out of the dome, from spa treatments to horse riding and bike rides. Our house rental would be in the woodland in proximity to the dome, and I cannot wait to wake up in the morning and smell that wooden scent. Hopefully, we'll get to see all sorts of critters. I will blog back about my experience, so stay tuned.
Style: Leopard, vintage & charity shopsLosing over 5 stones after my gastric sleeve surgery made me love fashion all over again. With that, I also found a real love for second-hand clothes from vintage stores or even charity shops, and of course, the famous Vinted, which I've been obsessed with. Not only is it good for the planet, but I can also easily find my style, which in my local town is a real challenge. Yes, my style has always been very rock chick, but lately, I have been obsessed with leopard print. I already own way too many leopard print trousers, but I've also been loving colors and unusual jewelry. I am experimenting, and I love it.
Photography:I have to admit I left my few film cameras unused for some time, and they gathered dust, to say the least. I de-dusted them, and they are back in action. I will experiment more on our trip to France and definitely try my black and white films. Stay tuned for an update.
